Anyone who has ever had their heart broken will agree with the old saying that ‘love hurts’.

Even if your first love doesn’t break your heart, the anxious ‘do they like me back’ early stages of any relationship can be deeply unsettling.

Now new research has backed up the theory, finding that the ‘love hormone’ which induces feelings of romantic attachment to your partner, also increases fear and anxiety.

Oxytocin, popularly known as the ‘love hormone’ is largely responsible for feeling ‘connected’ to other people, as well as our feeling of self well-being.

It is the chemical reason behind your feeling of social bonds, and ultimately – love.

However new research by Northwestern Medicine® published in Nature Neuroscience has shown that this happy hormone is also responsible for some of our most long lasting pain.

The research showed that one function of the hormone is to strengthen social memory in one specific region of the brain, and, if an experience is painful or distressing, Oxytocin will activate a part of the brain that intensifies the memory.

So the same hormone that brings you the joy of love is also behind the painful embarrassment of a social faux pas lasting for years, not seeming to fade.

Oxytocin also increases your susceptibility to fear and anxiety when you’re in stressful situations, and can increase anxiety and fear in response to future stress.

So it seems that, like love, Oxytocin can bring us extreme highs, but also extreme lows in our emotions, and while it is behind the best parts of a relationship, it is likely also behind those gut-wrenching feelings of sorrow and heart-break.

Jelena Radulovic, the senior author of the study said: ‘By understanding the Oxytocin system's dual role in triggering or reducing anxiety, depending on the social context, we can optimize Oxytocin treatments that improve well-being instead of triggering negative reactions.’

 This is proof of how science and research is used and abused within the consumerism profit-before-life system for the mere sake of being able to serve what people are brainwashed to BUY into, undermining at the same time any self-responsibility and self-empowerment, a point which would in fact require real education and self-realization.

I mean, if we do not understand How the ‘highs’ and the ‘lows’ within our mind and within our experience are created as well as how the mind system as such works and functions in its totality, we will forever be dependent on ‘experts’ and ‘medication’ to tell us who we are / who we-re supposed to be and what to do.

Unfortunately though, if you look at it in self-honesty, you will find that all ‘experts’ are equally products of the System like everyone else, meaning also equally brainwashed and equally dependent on money.

Money in fact dictates not only what research gets funded but also what results a research will produce. Because the answers one gets are always according to the questions one asks.

In the above research, the approach taken is only perpetuating the human nature of suppression and denial and, as I’ve said above, also of self-abdication: because instead of moving towards getting an understanding about the dual or bipolar nature of our systems, we continue with our method of suppressing/denying the negative by enhancing the positive, not considering that suppression and denial are not making the negative go away and so we will inevitably have to face the negative side of our existence which usually happens then through traumatic events. Fascinatingly enough though, when such traumatic events take place, one looks back and is able to see that the trauma could have been prevented as one had in fact seen indications of the problem/solution but had chosen to ignore them and continue with the ‘happy-go-lucky’ ride that we call our ‘way of life’.

Well if you ask me, this is not life, this is not living – it is mere survival, we just ‘live’ to make it to the next day, to maintain the lie, the illusion, our delusion.

Living would imply understanding, would imply exploring, would imply truth, and not delusion.

Unfortunately all science in this world is dedicated to enhancing the delusion as well as enhancing the budgets of those big brothers that fund the research and thus dictate the objectives and, consequently, the results.

Throughout my years as a truth seeker there is only one research group I found that is not making itself dependent on the big brothers and whose objective is focused on truth and not delusion, on actuality and not on presenting the ‘positive’ just to keep people hoping while abdicating self-responsibility for a ‘quick fix’ as the consumerism profit-before-life system does.

This research group is Desteni, leader in many fields, including psychology, sociology and economics – I suggest checking out the link I provide at the bottom and also have a look at the economic models proposed as a way to move from a profit-before-life system to an actual life-support system without exploitation and deception, for a life of excellence, without fear. 

The Desteni research has taken on various research point in various fields and has asked the questions left unanswered, demonstrating that science in this world does not support our evolution or the realization of our existence, but only the solidification of the existent brainwashing as a means to preserve the system and maintain a status quo that serves only a select few while sucking the life out of everyone and everything else.

Research and Science should have as purpose to explain and demonstrate how things work – from beginning to end – to empower society and the individual with actual knowledge that has actual application in the real world.

Instead, the only application of knowledge that seems valid in the current system is how to ‘feel good’ and make profit out of it. The entire psychology field is unfortunately one of the many where this is happening extensively – no self-empowerment for real, just feel-good delusions and band-aid solutions.

It is time we move beyond band-aid solution and get to Real Solutions that are sustainable and life-empowering.

It’s time we Wake Up and do something about it all – for real.

262: Desteni ReSearch & the Actuality of Reality

...If I look at how we apply ‘research’ within our world – what I see is that any search or research always follows or is in relation to past research; any search or research is always defined by that which is attempted to be proven; any search or research is always defined by the beliefs one was born into or walked into;
often we even form beliefs about beliefs, and thus what manifests as our knowledge platform in this world is a conglomeration of beliefs, layers upon layers of belief-systems, with very little substantial understanding about how reality in fact functions and operates.

And we have this phenomenon as starting-point in all aspects of ‘search’ or ‘research’ in our world – be it spirituality, science, cultures/subcultures, politics, philosophy etc.

Therefore instead of actual research happening, what is happening is a reflection of, a mirror-effect of: what is already believed, or what is attempted to be ‘proven’;
never however in fact directly looking at the actual workings of things, never seeing things for what they are, because the way things seem/look is always determined by the perception filters that one is looking through.



What is different about the Desteni research is the point of Seeing Direct –

We are Learning to see direct; which implies to acknowledge, see, realize, understand and free oneself from: the conditioned perception filters that define one’s view of reality –

because in common sense: How can there be different ‘views’ of reality when reality is Here as One – this one reality we all share.
Is our perceptual-reality-dimensions perhaps that which veils common sense and makes it so uncommon in this world?



So in fact the Desteni group have been re-defining the words ‘search’ / ‘research’ – and have inverted this point to be actual re-search, meaning: looking at all things again, anew, with fresh eyes, seeing direct, and realizing self-responsibility.

No longer searching for ‘saviors’ or ‘escape routes’ or ‘scape goats’ “out there”, no longer blaming or abdicating responsibility, but bringing the point back to self, taking self-responsibility as life, and looking here within/as self to self-realize existence, this world, reality, and (what we call) life – as that is the only starting-point from which we can bring-forth and manifest/establish actual CHANGE, the change we all want to see in our world!



In blogs to come I will be introducing/sharing some main principles from the Desteni research, and this is a good opportunity for anyone who is new to the material and the principles that Desteni stand for and share: to get an insight, an idea, an inspiration.

In the meantime, you can visit the website, scroll through the forums, and have a look at the tools of self-support offered/shared and the processes of people from around the world that have been walking these tools in practical self-application for years now, committed to manifesting a new way of life/living for ourselves and our existence, such that truly supports LIFE as who we all really are –

beyond the judgments, denials, suppressions, beliefs and definitions of the mind/the mental, as we realize that the consciousness of the world requires an actual evolution, through actual understanding, because currently the consciousness of the world, the consciousness we exist as, does not support life, and is in fact accepting/allowing/manifesting ourselves as ‘less than’ who we really are and can be as LIFE.



This really goes for any point we are facing / dealing with in our reality:
we either face / deal with a point directly, seeing it for what it is, in which case we interact with/as the actuality of reality in real-time, OR we create all kinds of opinions, judgments, ideas, reactions toward and about the point, in which case we are in fact only interacting with our own mind, our own reactions, our own box of mental and emotional patterns, and within that we completely miss the actuality of reality that is Here.

Investigate Desteni for a real approach to reality, and assist yourself in learning how to face and deal with the actuality of reality, how to see what is here for-real, and how to start removing the layers of distraction and perception that are conditioned to see only what the mind was taught to see, resulting in a world where we fight for our limitations and wage wars in the name of mental constructs, while we disregard the actuality of the physical reality that sustains us all on this ONE planet we share.





I suggest reading the Journey to Life blogs to see how within and through Writing in Self-Honesty one is able to get to know oneself as the mind and to face oneself as what one has become through the conditioned patterns of this preprogrammed consciousness of a consumerism system, which, as we can see everywhere in the world, is rapidly devolving and reaching an unspeakable atrocity.

It is time to take self-responsibility and restore the directive will of life, for All as Equals, as One, as LIFE.

237: Acidification of Earth’s Water – Reflection of Human Nature?

I am continuing from 236: Physics and the Desteni Process – Existential
to look deeper into some points:

I saw a parallel between the acidification of Earth’s waters and the acidification of the human being, the human existence, which, if we look at it from a perspective of interaction and behavior that includes the emotional aspect of human experience: is evidently becoming more and more rotten, acidy, poisonous. Society is killing the individual and the individual is killing society, yet at the same time society is the creation of individuals interacting with each-other.
Our existence is one of self-destruction in all possible ways. The only thing prevailing here is the system. The system of abuse, of separation, of exploitation, of ‘enlightened self-interest’ justified with ‘ignorance is bliss’.



The expression that has come to characterize humanity, to be humanity, is peaking into more and more acidity, as in: becoming more and more aggressive, nasty, explosive; it is something non-benevolent, non-supportive of life as a whole, the monster that we have accepted and allowed to become of ‘humanity’.



The element of water represents in many esoteric and eastern philosophies the emotional aspect of the human consciousness, like, the ‘big soup’ where all kinds of expressions and experiences are contained.

Yet we place blood before water and self-interest/profit before life.
We exploit “others” to keep our “own”.

And instead of our expression and experience being based on our oneness and equality as life, with/as an equilibrium that honors and ensures the wellbeing of All as One, and within that as Equals –
our expression is in essence characterized through separation, conflict, abuse, exploitation.

And despite all the ‘good’ and ‘benevolent’ ideas and concepts and campaigns we wave around like flags of victory and success, that ‘goodness’ of ours doesn’t seem to be enough to make a difference; and history keeps repeating. Why?
And isn’t that reason enough to start questioning the ‘goodness’ that we hide behind?




The interaction aspect of human existence is worth looking into from all perspectives and dimensions, because evidently it is demonstrating a spiral of devolution – expressed everywhere in every moment, through all media, politics, and shock events like school shootings and other violent crimes. Who is the real criminal? It is a vicious cycle that re-creates itself, as the system creates and re-creates the human and the human creates and re-creates the system.
By what law, in what image and likeness? Why is our beingness what our beingness is? And why do we seem to only be busy doing everything to ignore the ‘evil’ while we delude ourselves with projections of ‘good’/’god’ in the mental? What is the real ‘evil’?


The acidification of Earth’s waters could in fact be showing us our own state of affairs, a mirror reflection of who we are, of what we are doing to ourselves and each-other, by continuing to exist by the unwritten laws of the ill will of man.

People are searching for truth in all the weirdest places – when the truth is right in our faces, within and without, Here, everywhere, all the time.

And somehow we manage to be so distracted each in our own mind bubble made up of positive and negative definitions in relation to self-worth which becomes self-interest as one grows into the system and ends up trapped between abusing and being abused, that we fail to see reality, to see what we are doing, to see how we are participating in keeping the system alive, keeping the world as we know it, same power-games, same ego-trip, just different expressions and extremes, becoming extremely unpredictable on a personal level, yet quite predictable when looking at the bigger picture from the perspective of how points move in the physical reality, how patterns form and gain directive principle, and what happens when things are only ‘managed’ just ‘get by’, never really understood, cause and effect grasped, reality directed, transformed, at the core.
Otherwise we would have a different reality of our existence, very much so.

It's not too late. Or maybe it is. But as long as I breathe I cannot give up, and there is nothing else to do but open our eyes to the actuality of reality, within and without, and take responsibility for What is Here;
Educate ourselves and train ourselves in becoming living beings of integrity, dignity and respect, for all life as one. Then there may be a chance for us all to see through this, sort the mess on earth out, and live a new existence into beingness.

236: Physics and the Desteni Process – Existential

I read an article in the German paper “Die Zeit” the other day about the acidification of our waters, of Earth’s water. When I read Maya Rot’s blog on physics I could see how it is scientifically possible to see and apply physics in its connection to the human existence.

I saw a parallel between the acidification of Earth’s waters and the acidification of the human being, the human existence, which, if we look at it from a behavioural/expressionism perspective that would include the emotional aspect of human experience: is evidently become more and more rotten, acidy, poisonous. Society is killing the individual and the individual is killing society, and at the same time society is the creation of individuals interacting with each-other.

The interaction aspect of human existence is worth looking into from all perspectives and dimensions, because evidently it is demonstrating a spiral of devolution – expressed everywhere in every moment, through all media, politics, and shock events like school shootings and other violent crimes.

If evil exists it is here and now in the image and likeness of a human existence that rides on self-interest and feeds on others, manifesting a system where profit is placed before life and the value of life is replaced with mental concepts of ‘value’.

Day 46: MIND over MATTER

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that the physical reality reflects the inherent nature of ourselves which we deny and suppress and hide within the royal chambers of our secret mind.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to take the physical reality for granted - nature, the animal kingdom, my physical body.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to take nature for granted, instead of considering what it is that nature is showing us through for instance the weather patterns and changes, the more and more violent outbursts and natural catastrophes that are visiting upon us.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to consider that nature is reflecting us back to ourselves that we may see ourselves - if we dare look.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to consider that a change in the world-consciousness as the accepted 'human nature' could possibly result in a change of the patterns of nature on earth.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that the world consciousness as human nature has not actually changed or evolved throughout time, but has only intensified and externalized, just like the natural phenomena we are witnessing are becoming more and more violent, explosive, fatal.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to take the animal kingdom for granted - instead of considering what it is that animals may be reflecting back to us so that we may see the truth of our nature - if we dare look.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to 'justify' the accepted human nature of survival and self-interest by referring to the animal kingdom where one animal kills another - yet I have never considered to reverse the logic, the cause and effect: are the animals maybe showing us what we are doing to ourselves and each-other?

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed a world where we'll go to incredible extents to try and 'justify' why we exist the way we do, consuming ourselves and each-other and our living planet; and where we'll call nature /the animal /the physical 'evil' and blame nature /the animal /the physical for the evil in man - instead of really getting to know ourselves, how we function and why, so that we may finally take responsibility, stand-up and take action to restore the equilibrium of life as what's best for all.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to take my physical body for granted - instead of realizing that without the physical body, my mind would have nothing to sustain it; and that in fact the mind is dependent on the physical to exist and maintain its functions.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to give my physical body equal attention and regard as I've given to my mind - and I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to identify with consciousness of the mind only, where I can pretend and superimpose the 'positive' while I dump all 'negative' into the physical, to hide and suppress it, thinking and believing that if I don't look - it's not there; just like sheep hiding from the fire.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to get to know my physical body as that which keeps me alive, that which breathes and sustains me, that which is Here - and to equalize myself within and as it; no longer placing judgment onto the physical based on the brainwashing of this world, but really accepting myself as the physical body that I am and getting to know and communicate with my origin.

I commit myself to sharing the common sense that "mind over matter" is the belief that has driven mankind to delusions of grandeur while disregarding and exploiting the physical reality we all share; and that how we live the words “mind over matter” is in fact revealing the deliberate abuse we allow in the name of ego: as ‘mind’ is that which we deem as ‘mine’ (thus self-interest, ownership, possession) and ‘matter’ is that which really matters, the matter at hand, the physical that is always Here.

I commit myself to train myself in establishing equilibrium within myself as a physical body, getting to know myself at all levels, no longer hiding within the mind in projected 'superiority' while disregarding and exploiting the physical to maintain the personalities we identify with as self-image.

I commit myself to walking myself out of the mental and into the physical: from self-image to self-trust - so that I may stand in self-equality and oneness and learn to truly honor and respect myself as a living being of dignity and integrity.

I commit myself to sharing the common sense that the human consciousness has not evolved or changed - and that we’ve only been manifesting conflict, war and deterioration through the self-interest of our mind - instead of considering and regarding life as that which is common and sacred to all living beings, as that which truly matters.

I commit myself to sharing the common sense that the physical is our origin, as we are born from the physical and equally return to the earth; and a child is not born with a mind/mental consciousness, but is conditioned throughout time to 'evolve' as mind/personality in self-interest/separation according to the 'education' it receive based on 'reward' and 'punishment' -

thus the consciousness that evolves as personality is purely a product of brainwashing and mind-control, ingrained into the physical through acceptance and allowance;

and as the consciousness age to become an elderly person, it will fixate on one or a few personalities with which it identify and will end-up as a deteriorated physical body acting out the caprices it defines as 'who I am', which however end at death.

I commit myself to sharing the common sense that death is the result of the physical's exploitation by the mind/consciousness and by the being's acceptances and allowances that cause its separation from the physical and entrapped into the mental.

I commit myself to sharing the common sense that the mental exists as alternate-realities in which we can hide only for so long - and that we should consider that perhaps our being Here on Earth is our test and our choice to decide whether we will sell out life in the pursuit of self-interest which is ‘exclusive’, or whether we will make it through the eye of the needle into Life which is all-inclusive; and that this: each one decide and determine for oneself in every moment of breath.

I commit myself to establishing a new system on Earth that will regard and support the physical as the actuality of reality, a new system based on the realization that the value of life is life: thus a system of equality that will support all life equally from birth to death, ensuring a dignified life for all.
