335 | Give your Possessions to the Poor and Follow Jesus?

A point I looked at in relation to this question is –
Is it ‘good’ to ‘give to the poor’ or is that the ‘easy way out’ of taking responsibility?
Because – have a look – what we can see in the example of charities for instance, is that the main point served within the application of charity is to for a moment ‘feel better’/’feel important’ because one is ‘giving to the poor’, however charities never question the system. In fact, within a system that would truly care for and support all life equally – charities would be irrelevant, they could not exist; as they can only exist in the context of a system where some Have while others Have Not, dictated by money and bloodline.

So wouldn’t this realization imply that, in common sense the best choice/decision to make is to take responsibility and realize that, since this life was given to me and I have a roof over my head and access to money, the job, the infrastructure, the internet access, I can look at this life as a Gift – and therefore, what best way to honor this gift but to live/apply solutions towards a change in our world, our society, ourselves, a change that will enable us to transcend our current ‘way of life’ that in fact devalues life making out of it a commodity, and bring forth a new system that value LIFE.

The current system values money, possessions, and a definition of ‘power’ and ‘value’ that imply and allow that profit is placed before life and that life is exploited in the name of profit.
I mean this simply shows that profit/money has become God in this world, and it is so through everyone’s – OUR – acceptance and allowance.
So – am I going to give everything I have to the poor and ‘feel good about it’ and believe I’m ‘saving the world’ or am I going to use what I have to support, stabilize and educate / apply myself in the system, so that I’m able to in fact work on changing the system in a way that puts an end to poverty once and for all?



The question came up in our group chat last night. One is often asked, when discussing for instance equal money: “So what have you done? Have you given all yours to the poor?” And we looked at: can this question be answered? If so – how? If not – why not?

Here are some perspectives from fellow Destonians:
--- Not, because giving money to others is perpetuating the cycle of some having the ability to give others, instead of creating a solution where everyone is able to give and receive in equality.
--- I say that what little I can give won't make a difference in the big picture - that we have to change the system to support the poor
--- no you haven't - you can't - because everyone fears "what about me" - but actually only the super-rich can give to the poor otherwise the 'who is poor' will simply be rotating/changing without poverty stopping
--- if I give all the poor I will become the poor and then I am creating another problem - and then is a snowball where I will wait for someone to give me, and so it goes
--- No, individuals only giving to the poor is not a solution - it may last them a while only, and then we both end up at the same point "with nothing" - so, we use our resources/availabilities that we do have in relation to money to change this entire world system for all
--- are you in the new system yet or must you function effectively in the old system till the new can be established? what is the self-honesty here?
--- is it relevant to give all you have to the poor to change the world or is that stupid and the one asking the question knows it’s stupid, but may floor you because you will feel guilty?
--- they ask the question because they expect guilt - not an a common sense answer without the morality of the system
--- the person that ask the question to try and silence you with the giving it all to the poor point, knows you are not going to be able to give a short answer -- and will try and bully you
--- Jesus showed that the rich man have a reason not to be responsible for life--his possessions
--- with equality you give it all to the poor so to speak and you receive equally --thus -- there will be no poor


We decided to place this question/perspective on the forum to show and further discuss and elaborate on why one must function in the system till the time comes for legitimate transformation through the legal means we have available.

Day 176: Letting go of Possessions = No more Possessed

Here I continue from my previous Blog post from Day 175: Letting Go of What is Not Mine.

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that anything I perceive myself to want, need, desire, must have, or must keep: is not in fact ‘mine’ in terms of who I really am, but rather a conditioned response, concept or idea based on personality designs and the “value” assigned to things by and as such personality designs.

 

I forgive myself that I’ve accepted and allowed myself to hold on to whatever I assign value to (experiences, people, relationships), trying to ‘keep it’ as if it were my possession –

when in fact I am within that rather being possessed by the very things I assign special value to and try to possess / attain / keep.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that all fear of loss derives from such assigned values and a relationship of possession / ownership toward that which we assign special value to –

and within that is clear that fear is not in fact real, but only an ‘excuse’ used to ‘justify’ one’s self-interest.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that any value I perceive or assign to any point (experience, people, relationships) is in fact conditioned and serves only the purpose of me ‘keeping’ my perceived reality and within that my accepted self-definitions.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that my perceived reality and my accepted self-definitions serve only the maintenance of a consciousness conditioned to survive in this world through competition and to function within concepts of ‘superiority’/’inferiority’, to within that keep the system running, within and without.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that ‘keeping’ my perceived reality and my accepted self-definitions comes from the perception of ‘knowing’ who I am within and as how I defined myself in the context of the system;

and within this ‘knowledge’ I ‘feel safe’ because I ‘know’ and thus I can be ‘in control’.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that this knowledge is in fact the knowledge of a system through definition and acceptance/submission, and the perceived safety within the perceived control is but illusion –

an illusion that certainly ends at death.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that trap of knowledge – wherein we think and believe that we ‘know’ who we are simply due to the same patterns of experiences repeating throughout our lives and us responding in the same way, as conditioned;

when in fact we don’t even know where our thoughts, feelings and emotions come from and what constitutes the patterns within which they ‘come-up’.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that any and all knowledge of this world is useless, unless it used to understand how self functions, what constitutes the self we perceive as ‘who I am’, and how from the interaction of self’s society is created, which is showing a shockingly true reflection of self –

yet what do we do in this world: we blame the world, blame the system, blame each-other, and refuse to take self-responsibility and get to self-honesty about what is really going on in the secret mind of each one.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that in fact nothing of what one perceives to be ‘me’ or ‘mine’ is in fact that – yet it has become our individual reality to such an extent that it defines the very box of our thinking; and that is the trap of consciousness.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that nothing of what I perceive or experience is really ‘mine’ – it is merely the patterns conditioned into and as me throughout time, this also seen within history repeating and nothing ever actually changing in the bigger picture:

same power-games, different faces – and history repeating, with unnecessary bloodshed in a world where we follow profit at the cost of life.

 

I forgive myself that I haven’t allowed myself to see, realize and understand that we all are products of the system, born of consumerism as consumers and formed in the image and likeness of the system into ‘happiness machines’ that re-create/perpetuate the system in turn;

holding on to fake “values” and self-definitions, hiding behind fear and holding onto ‘knowledge’ like a shield, cowering within perceived ‘safety’ and following the wants, needs, desires that automatically come-up as conditioned to tell us what our self-interest is –

instead of questioning this kind of manipulation and deception EVERYTHING exists through/as, within and without, in a quest for fake “value” while we disregard the actual value of LIFE.

Day 175: Letting Go of what is not Mine

In my previous blog post I looked at the point of walking life breath by breath, wherein to take a new breath, I let go of the previous one, just like when you take a step you have to lift your other foot off the ground before you can take the next step.

Letting go in every moment I find is a living-application that assists me in no longer holding on to anything, from the perspective that anything that I perceive myself to want, need, desire, must have, or must keep: is not in fact ‘mine’ in terms of who I really am, but rather a conditioned response, concept or idea based on personality designs and the “value” assigned to things by and as such personality designs.

 

So, within walking breath by breath and letting go in every moment, I assist and support myself to stop ‘following’ and to instead move myself;

to no longer be moved by or follow personality designs and the ‘agendas’ such designs are conditioned to pursue in self-interest – and instead to move myself, breath by breath, in the realization that the only actual value is life/living, and that actual life/living cannot exist place as long as we merely act-out our preprogrammed designs as personalities / character roles, because within such preprogrammed designs we merely react to impulses instead of moving self, in self-honesty, self-determination, self-responsibility.

 

What is interesting is that within and as our identification with the personality designs we develop and become throughout our lives, there are things, experiences, wants, needs, fears, desires, that we see as ‘mine’, and within that we define ourselves by these very things –

in spite of the fact that such attributes and designs were merely copied / adopted / reacted upon – conditioned.

So in fact nothing of what one perceives to be ‘me’ or ‘mine’ is in fact so – yet it has become our individual reality to such an extent that it defines the very box of our thinking; and that is the trap of consciousness.

 

Letting go of what is not ‘mine’ is in fact letting go of everything.

And within that, I am still here. And everything is still here. I am simply not holding on to anything, not defining myself according to anything, not placing special value on any point – as I realize this would imply separation from life.

If life continues after death, yet the human defines self through the fake 'values' we have come to worship before life, then surely there is no way the human as what the human perceives self to be continues after death.

Common sense is that the only to stand equal as life as the only actual value, is to let go of any other value that is not equal of life.

If everything is here, and everything is me – then it is simply to look and see things for what they are, and make a common sense decision on what is acceptable for life and what no, what I will accept and allow within and as my existence and what not: in terms of what is equal to/supportive of LIFE and practically best for all.

Day 71: Reaction Energetics Mind the Mine

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to act out a reaction.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that whenever I act out a reaction, I am trying to 'validate' my ego and thus becoming self-righteous.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that a reaction is always about self, never about another.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to expect another to 'fix' my reaction - instead of me stopping my reaction and taking full responsibility for myself.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that reactions are self-created through the accumulation of backchat, where the ego speaks to itself in the mind, making up beliefs and equations where one as ego is either in a point of perceived 'disadvantage'/'inferiority' or perceived 'advantage'/'superiority' - but in fact both these points exist simultaneously as one = as ego:
where one will 'feel' one has been ‘diminished’ or was ‘done wrong unto’ and thus one goes into self-victimization as 'inferiority' while at the same time the backchat is busy 'getting back' to the one apparently to 'blame' in an attempt to 'superiorize' one's position/experience.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that no one can ever actually 'make me feel' something - I am always experiencing myself and the result of the equations I create through the accepted backchat in the mind.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that the backchat in the 'secret mind' always exists in polarities and is always about power-games of 'superiority'/'inferiority' whereby the ego creates the backchat trying to find ways to 'win'.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that whenever I blame another for 'making me feel' a certain way: I am in fact abdicating my responsibility.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that I am always self-responsible for the experience of myself, which is always self-created through and as the mind.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to acknowledge the practicality of standing in self-equality and oneness and realize that that is the only point where self has directive power –
because seeing myself as 'inferior' or 'superior' indicates I am looking at myself through the backchat in my head and thus abdicating my self-directive power to the mind to determine who I am.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that by abdicating my self-directive power to the mind, I make myself subject to the polarities of the mind and thus unable to stand stable in self-equality and oneness, in self-acceptance and self-trust as life.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that whenever I allow myself to look at myself through the backchat in my head: I will also look at others through the same filters - and that this only creates and perpetuates the power-games of ego, keeping the system running in the world as we know it.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that the world system exists as it does due to the systems we accept and allow to exist within us as who we are:
where it's all about power-games, 'superiority'/'inferiority', and ultimately about 'winning', based on the fear of loss /fear of being discriminated / fear of being rejected –
yet we refuse to see how we ourselves constantly discriminate and reject others in our minds just to be the ones to 'win'.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that both the world system and the mind system function like a casino, and one as ego is always trying to 'win the jackpot' regardless of the 'loss' implied for everyone else.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that both the world system and the mind system are based on the concept of 'limited energy' and thus competition for survival - where in the world: energy is MONEY, and in the individual: energy is the MINE/MIND; yet we do not consider that both are mental concepts based in FEAR, and due to the accepted fear we fail to consider that it is possible to have a win-win situation where in fact we regard ourselves and each-other as Equals of Life.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that energy represents our separation from life: in the world through MONEY; and in the individual through and as what we MIND as MINE - where we'll go into all kinds of reactions and feelings and emotions and backchat in the head to 'justify' what is OURS, wasting our HOURS on earth in mental power-games simply due to the accepted fear which is inFEARiority, which is Ego, because within that accepted ‘inferiority’ we tacitly imply that we are not equal of life.

Within this I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that since the starting-point of fear as accepted ‘inferiority’ is within and as self: Self is in fact the only place to stop the fear and redefine one's starting-point to be equal and one with life.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that I can only perceive or assume that others see me or place me as 'less than' and thus as 'inferior' - if I have already accepted such 'inferiority' within myself.

Within this I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that once I place myself as equal and stand as equal of life in self-acceptance and self-trust, and walk this decision in practical application in my living moment-to-moment, breath-by-breath:

I will no longer accept or allow another's actions or words to determine 'who I am' or 'make me feel' 'inferior' or 'superior' - because I have realized and accepted my value as life;

Nor will I allow backchat in the mind to undermine my self-equality as life, as I will stand as One and thus no longer divided within myself.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to see, realize and understand that once I have realized and accepted my value as life in equality and oneness and live this realization into beingness as 'who I am' in every moment of breath:

I will also see others within and as the value of life and thus will be able to assist others to self-realize life as equality and oneness.

And with many individuals aligning self in this way, we are able to assist ourselves and each-other to stop the power-games, stop our acceptances and allowances that make us 'less than' who we really are as life; and bring forth a new world of self-willed equals where we honor ourselves and each-other as life.



I commit myself to showing that new ways of communication, exchange and expression will emerge as who we are, once we stop the power-games and our accepted 'inferiority', stop the fear and the backchat in the mind, and stand as life in self-equality and oneness to walk in self-dignity, self-respect, self-responsibility.

I commit myself to showing that reactions always reveal one's own nature as one's acceptances and allowances - and thus we are able to investigate our reactions in self-honesty to get to know ourselves, realize what we have become, and re-evaluate our existence as an informed decision about who we are going to be and how we are going to correct ourselves into self-dignity, self-respect, self-responsibility.

I commit myself to taking responsibility for the entirety of who I am, my reactions included, and to assist and support myself with self-forgiveness and self-corrective application to stop myself from being trapped in energetic power-games and acting out reactions that not only harm me, but also others/my world.

I commit myself to stopping the accepted inferiority and to no longer allowing myself to be determined by the bipolar nature of reactions, backchat, energy – so that I may accept myself as the value of life as equal and assist myself in establishing that point of self-trust and self-equality that will ensure that I am the directive principle of me in self-honesty and self-respect.

I commit myself to showing that if we do not give life to ourselves - we cannot have life; if we do not birth ourselves as life, we cannot be life.

I commit myself to showing that if we do not give life to all equally, we do not in fact have the right to life, nor can we have a context wherein to live in dignity as life.

I commit myself to sharing the support of the 'desteni I process', where we learn to see through the veils of our own backchat and beyond the limitations of our belief-systems in the mind; to realize how we function as a mind and how we in unawareness have come to be who and what we are today; so that we may take self-responsibility for our existence, piece ourselves back together, and re-design ourselves in self-awareness as life.

I commit myself to showing that the process humanity is facing is the process of walking ourselves out of self-consciousness as ego which is based in fear and other polarity constructs, and walking ourselves into self-awareness as life based in the value of life as oneness and equality, where fear and polarity have no place - and thus hierarchy, control and exploitation have no place either.

I commit myself to sharing the common sense that if we want to bring forth actual change in our world and restore the value of life on earth, we will have to acknowledge that the only way for all to have freedom and a dignified life without fear: is to stop all hierarchies, all polarities, all exploitation and all abuse, and to ensure that all life has equal access, equal participation, equal rights and equal power in life.

I commit myself to showing that the equal money system as proposed by the desteni group will not only eliminate starvation and provide a stable foundation where we as humanity will have the time and the means to re-educate ourselves into self-awareness and self-responsibility; it will also ensure the emergence of a new, self-empowered, self-responsible human that will practically redefine 'human nature' such that we will no longer accept or allow the exploitation of life through separation, competition, profit, war, inequality.
