So, we’ve looked thus far at the polarity consciousness constructs of Reward & Punishment, Fear & Desire, War & Peace, Love & Hate – all of which have in common the factors of Gain & Loss.

“Gain” & “Loss” are cool definitions in order of supporting ourselves to see and understand Self-Interest.

I mean, if we lived on this Earth as Humanity, as One, based on the principles of for instance Jesus and “Give as You would Like to Receive”, “Love Thy Neighbor as Thy Self”, “Do unto Another as you would Like to have Done unto You”: the experience of Gain and Loss would not have to exist –
because Self-Interest would not exist, or rather, Self-Interest would be aligned to and equal/one with the Interest of Life, of which we are all equally part of.

But – this is not the case.
This world, our existence is based on Self-Interest. Self-Interest being the starting-point of everything, from the world systems to the individual relationships people entertain, to how we raise and ‘educate’ our children.


Self-Interest is in direct relation to the polarity construct of Gain & Loss. Gain & Loss being perceptual mentalities – perspectives from the point of view of Me, Myself and I. Me, Myself and I in COMPARISON to others, hence a world of competition, which we ‘justify’ through ‘survival’, and which obviously is used and abused by Consumerism to further indoctrinate and promote Competition as ‘healthy’, as the way forward.

I mean, obviously we could utilize competition in healthy ways, in terms of simply looking at what is possible, what is desirable and to the benefit of life, of growth, of real progress; and then looking at what qualities and strengths are required, how do others do it, what can I learn, how can I improve myself – not to be and become ‘more than’ or ‘better than’ or ‘worthier than’ others, but simply to improve and express and expand myself, and thus within that to contribute to life through who I am and how I participate in my world. That is a whole other scenario, with an entirely different starting-point.

But from the starting-point of Self-Interest, which is equal to FEAR, because without the Fear of LOSS, the fear of being ‘less than’, being ‘disregarded’, being ‘rejected’ etc., the projection of GAIN would not have to exist as it does; and we would not have to accumulate “value” like we are constantly trying to do in the current world system, wherein we have defined “value” within polarity definitions of ‘power’, ‘wealth’, ‘status’, ‘success’, ‘dominance’, ‘superiority’, etc.


So it’s interesting to observe how the System basically ‘educates’ us and forms our perception in terms of Gain & Loss, and as we grow up and grow older we become the representatives of the System as we base our entire participation in our world on terms of Gain & Loss – and through such existence, through such ‘human nature’, we re-create the system again and again to be what it is, to never change, to never in fact evolve but only to mutate into more meticulous, more sophisticated ways of deception, exploitation, abuse.

It is really worth investigating the principle of Equality and how Equality is the way towards restoring the Value of Life and letting go of the fake values which we have developed out of fear and accepted inFearIority, letting go of the mental-I-ties that tie us / each-other to cycles of abuse.

Study Desteni to understand Creation – both the creation of this world, this existence, and equally the creation of ourselves, human nature; to understand this system of separation, this system of polarity, this system of fear; and to acknowledge the abuse and the exploitation that results in consequence of our acceptance and allowance of such system, within and without. 

That is the only way to CHANGE our world, our existence for real : Self-Real-ization, thus Self-Response-Ability.

249: „Life’s a Journey, not a Destination”

 „Life’s a Journey, not a Destination” – or: “The journey is the reward” – or: “The way is the goal” –these are the most common translations of the words of Confucius, which apparently managed to confused many.

I saw this quotation by Confucius today in German: “Der Weg ist das Ziel” which literally means “The way is the goal”.

Now – it’s quite interesting because indeed: whatever we do, act or don’t act, say or think, who we are “on the way” i.e. in every moment, with every breath = this is what we become, what we create, what we manifest.

The Journey, the way, the path, that is determined by who one is in every breath and how one in fact leads one’s life in every moment.

Common-sensically, the goal, the destination, the “reward”, is the accumulation thereof, the equation thereof.

And so the goal, the destination, is always equal to and one with the path, the way one walks and participates in every moment.
One always becomes who one is in every moment.


So the actual question we should all be asking ourselves is: What am I accumulating as myself? What do I exist equal to and one with? What is my truth? Who am I in every moment? What defines me? What moves me? What am I accepting and allowing? Based on what?

That is in fact the essence of the Desteni I Process courses.



Unfortunately, the words of Confucius have been misread, misinterpreted, adjusted to serve self-interest, not unlike how the words of Jesus were used to divide and conquer and separate life from life based on values of the mind, serving thus mental imagery instead of serving life.

Very often one will emphasize the Journey and will use the words “the journey is the reward” to remain ‘travelling’ which in the end is nothing but ‘tripping’, as one has not considered the outcomes and consequences of one’s journey, of one’s moment to moment participation, of the Who I am in every breath. So life becomes a “journey, not a destination”, when in fact it should, in this world, be clear that we still gotta get to actual life, actual living, in a world where life IS the value, and where the right of life is honored and supported in fact, in all possible ways.

Also to consider that:
if LIFE is in fact the journey, then LIFE is also the destination, the outcome.
And it’s obvious that in this world, the journey is not life, it is self-interest, it is personal gain, it is a road of separation, hence the resulting world as we know it.

By focusing on the “journey” for the sake of the “journey” – it all becomes about the ‘experience’ thereof, and within that one gets caught in ‘experience’, gets addicted to ‘experience’, while time goes by and no real actual solution for LIFE on earth is in sight.


The first approach to actual solutions for our existence on earth is the equal money approach.

The Journey can be “the reward” when one is making sure that every step of the journey one is participating as ‘best for all life’, because within that one in fact knows what one is manifesting, what one is accumulating, what one is getting to.

This is the Journey to Life  –  Join us!



The Destination must be a World that is Best for All - that is the only viable definition of LIFE.

Therefore the Journey must be to practically Live as Best for All Life - in every moment of breath.

This is Desteni.

240: Living in an equal money system would be cool

Desteni Artists

Today I started painting the walls in my new place. To buy the equipment and stuff required, I went to several different stores and compared the prices. The price differences were big, not only for the same stuff but even the same make. So I spent quite some time moving around, comparing, buying, bringing stuff to the flat and going back out again.
So I was thinking: In an equal money system, this ‘issue’ would not exist. The decisions to be made would be matter of actual practicality. When the profit motive is out of the equation, we can all have the best of everything and the prices of things and services will be a whole different story.

I can’t wait to move and settle down in the new place. I really was lucky, because the market for rents is getting worse and worse, meaning: it’s difficult to find something to begin with, and then of course the prices going further and further up. Five to six years ago living in Berlin was quite affordable, but the city became more and more an attraction for young enterprises, big companies, foreign investors, and so the prices started to rise and they still are. Plus the rising numbers of students.

Berlin used to be like a big village, and it’s now becoming more and more a metropolis. Still though, there are neighborhoods that are quite cosy to live in, without much traffic and relatively green. That’s the area where I found an affordable apartment. I am looking at a small garden from my window, which is partly green still in the middle of winter, and I am planning to plant some stuff when the spring comes, perhaps even have a small table and a couple of chairs right under my window, to be outside when the weather is nice.

The action of renovating and fixing the place is something I currently enjoy, in spite of the troubles and the time I have to invest in doing it, or the money I have to spend to get things done. It’s like taking care of myself, in a way. In an equal money system, we could all live this way, given that we respect our environment in all possible ways.


I will continue on this tomorrow, either with more points that come up in the process of getting ready to move to the new place, or with an entirely different point – let’s see.
