407 | Self-Care is not possible without Self-Honesty - Or Why no one will CARE if You don’t

ART by Terhas Tree White

If we have a look at how CARE is defined as a living word in our world/system – how CARE is lived/applied – we can see a peculiar thing: it doesn’t really serve us as life.

Examples can be seen within even the formative years of a child’s life, where care is expressed through finding ways to ‘keep the child happy’ which is in fact about keeping the child quiet and preoccupied, and having the child interfere as little as possible with OUR agendas, OUR plans, OUR time, OUR ‘peace of mind’.

But that is an issue entailing many aspects and dimensions, and it is being walked extensively in Blogs written by parents and parents-to-be who walk this process of self-honesty.

Which brings me to the actual point of this blog, being that: without self-honesty, no actual self-care is possible. Let me demonstrate why through some simple examples.

You know that for instance due to your current condition or schedule, physical movement would do you good and would support you in stabilizing yourself, breathing more, etc. But every time the time is here where you could do some physical exercises or stretch or take a walk in the park, you’ll tell yourself in your mind things like “Oh man I don’t have enough time” or “Oh let me go and buy some sweets first” or “But I haven’t exercised for so long, I’m just not up for it”- and you’ll find in your mind all kinds of reasons and excuses why you will not support yourself as a physical being that has certain requirements for a healthy and stable existence.

Or, say for instance that you have defined yourself through your work to such an extent that you’ve become like a workaholic, and at the end of the day your body is letting you know through various symptoms that it is time to stop whatever it is you are doing and rest, go to bed, have a shower, do some breathing exercises or whatever would support you in resting. But whenever such moment is here, you’ll in your mind find ways to ignore the communication of your body – which is in fact ignoring yourself as a physical being.

Or, say for instance there are certain physical tasks that require to be done with which you will support yourself in your life, be it making some phone calls, arranging appointments, answering emails etc. But you are busy watching movies or playing games, and every time you remember your tasks that you should be taking care of, you tell yourself “Oh just one more movie” or “But I’d actually like to continue playing this game, I just can’t stop” and stuff like that.

What is evident within this is that curiously enough there is a contradiction between what your body needs and requires, what you should be doing and taking care of so as to effectively support yourself in this physical reality – and the wants / needs / desires of your mind.

And ironically enough there is a ‘third’ party within that, which is YOU =
the one that makes the decision in every moment as to what you will do and participate in, and what you will ignore and not participate in.

This brings us to self-honesty

How is it that we care so much for the wants / needs / desires that come-up in our mind – most of which are based on conditioned patterns of consciousness, according to how we have programmed ourselves to ‘cope’ with our reality.

‘Coping’ being the operative word here, because it is through ‘coping’ that we manifest and maintain an existence of ‘survival’-
the survival of ourselves as consciousness, as the systematic prepgrogrammed robot that merely reacts to triggers as conditioned; and equally through this also the survival of this world system as we know it, which is dependent upon human beings existing as systematic organic robots, keeping the system running, and nothing ever changing.

So – within this also everyone is waiting for everyone and everything else to change first, while the solution obviously is within becoming the directive principle of change, of correction, of transformation – both within and without.

Have a look at how often you’ll think things like “Oh if only that and that point were different in my life, I would be different / my experience of myself would be different” or “if only that and that person would change, then everything would be much better”… We seldom consider being the one to care, being the one taking the initiative and thus becoming the directive principle for change, for transformation, for a ‘better world’ in fact. Because that would mean to start with ourselves – and oh my god we are so fearful of letting go of our petty self-definitions, of our habits and addictions, of our wants, needs and desires the way we have designed them in our mind and integrated them in our body.

And if we really look at it – what is it all about? It’s about ‘keeping ourselves happy’ which is in fact about keeping ourselves comfortably numb’- in the same way that parents will train their children with rewards to be what and how they want them to be – to fit in, to comply, to obey, to be obedient servants of the little family system to begin with, so that they can be good servant of the System when the time comes…

So it’s fascinating how we strive to emancipate ourselves from out parents, from authority etc. yet at the same time we develop the same kind of authority within our minds as our consciousness, and spend our lives trying to make/keep that consciousness happy, while we care only for the wants / needs / desires that this conditioned consciousness presents us with within the mind.

Fascinating how this point actually really is so obvious, and so simplistic – yet we fail to acknowledge it, we hardly ever ask the question where our thoughts and emotional/feeling reactions come from, where our moods come from, let alone realizing that we are in fact The One that in every moment makes a decision as to what one will support / follow / fulfill.

Therefore, what does this tell us? Real care in this world does not exist. What exists is self-interest and a consciousness that exists like a parasite within/as a state of mind that makes-believe that ignorance is bliss’ and that only seeks its own ‘peace of mind’, regardless the cost and the consequences for others or even one’s own physical body.

A further interesting and vital perspective to see within this – and this can be seen especially within the example of the workaholic that is physically so tired but in spite of the pain or other symptoms the physical body communicates, they will just not stop –

is how the mind/consciousness exploits the physical for its own existence.

If you went to rest or sleep for instance, the mind/consciousness (of eg. the workaholic) would no longer be able to continue ‘working’. But it’s not even about ‘working’, it’s about self-preservation – meaning: the being as consciousness has identified to such an extent with ‘working’, that it’s created like a fear of losing itself / losing its identity if it were to stop ‘working’. So within our existence as consciousness, this can be generalized: wherein we are so defined by our self-definitions as consciousness, through what we ‘do’ and ‘how we are’, what and how we ‘think’ and what we believe, that even questioning all that seems like a threat.

But back to the point I was making:

the consciousness we become uses the resources of the physical body to exist. Without the physical body generating the energy for the consciousness to exist, or should I say to ‘run’, it cannot function. This can be seen clearly within the example of the workaholic for instance.

Now from this point would or should actually arise the question: why do we age, really? Why do we die? Why does death exist? And how come we haven’t yet –despite our ‘great technological advancement’- been able to see, realize and understand the existence of death, even though it is the one thing that is certain the moment we are born?

Many questions arise – and here, self-honesty and common sense would be vital to even start exploring such questions without getting lost in the wants, needs, and desires of consciousness.

To see some of the consequences of how consciousness exists and why for instance such questions about death and the ‘afterlife’ have not yet been answered with clarity, certainty, and insight, please read

To conclude with the point of this post, let it be said that without self-honesty, without knowing and understanding ourselves: we cannot really care for ourselves or each-other, let alone support ourselves as life, and assist ourselves in transcending this paranoid parasitic consciousness that has taken over our existence, within and without.

And – if I am not The One to CARE, for life as myself to begin with, then nobody else will. And we can spend a life time waiting for others to change, waiting for things to change, waiting for the world to change, so that is apparently ‘worth our care’- But, we never cared for ourselves as life in the first place, so why should anyone care FOR us?

Briefly, to re-define CARE from being the systematic ‘fulfillment’ of the wants, needs and desires of the mind/consciousness which only includes the ‘rewards’ we have conditioned ourselves to want/need/desire based on the ‘laws’ and ‘ways’ of the system that formed us –

it is obvious that we must learn to differentiate between the wants/needs/desires of the mind/consciousness and the needs and requirements of ourselves and our world as physical beings. So, within walking/applying and living self-care, the question we must ask ourselves is: How do I support that little life spark within myself? How do I support my physical body that makes my existence in this world possible in the first place? How do I care for my existence practically, physically, in such a way that I can be the best I can be according to my predisposition, and further, how can I explore and expand my abilities and my possibilities to contribute to a change in my world so that also my world becomes ‘worthy of life’.

Care should be the practical, visible living-application of one’s love for life –not one’s ‘love’ for one’s own mind- where love and life/living are equal and one in meaning and value, because love –and CARE- cannot be just a ‘feeling’, an ‘idea’, an ‘intent’ that follows a quest of enlightened self-interest’.

When CARE is real, it has constructive results which are visible, measurable, not only for oneself, but consequently and in time for one’s world as well.

Join us to walk the solutions to such questions practically, individually, and together as One life, as One humanity – to find ways where we can all live and co-exist without harm, without exploitation, without abuse. Within AND without.

Day 19: Fear needs God; God needs Fear

In this system, where Fear needs God and God needs Fear, both fear and god are trapped in a relationship of dependency where 'value' is defined through polarity in such a way, that abuse is allowed as the only way to sustain both Fear and God through infinite cycles of power-games;
power-games being the fuel that creates the friction that keeps the system going. This polarity friction that can be seen manifested both in the money-system as the world and the mind-system as the individual.

Friction generates cycles of energy ad infinitum, manifested within the individual as the thoughts and bipolar reactions as fears and desires of the mind-system; and within the world as the bipolar money-system of rich and poor.
Power-games is the basic energetic state of existence - within as without.

Religion has used both God/Heaven and Fear/Hell to its own benefit.

Religion is a consciousness system that has institutionalized itself to such an extent that it managed to benefit from both points: the mind-system /the individual and the money-system /the world - and has within this become one of the most powerful systems in this reality.

Religion has (just like all world systems: education, media, science, technology) used the money-system for profit/self-interest to maintain control over the 'poor souls' of the human, promising salvation and eternal life in some 'afterlife' while doing nothing to empower the human in this life for real in a way that all souls are supported and able to live without fear.

The money-system system functions just like a religion:

Religion has used fear to promote slavery to a god in the hope for salvation just like the world-system uses fear to promote the purpose of serving the system in order to survive.
It is a pyramid scheme.

Within Religion one fights other belief-systems for the survival of the ‘one true god’. Within the world-system one fights against each-other for the ‘survival of the fittest’.

Both Religion and the money-system utilize concepts of ‘sin’/’debt’ and ‘forgiveness’ linked to a 'higher power': 'god' / 'money').
A ‘higher power’ that is given the authority through belief to decide the fate of the individual, while the individual abdicates his/her responsibility to a 'higher power' - be it god, money, status, technology; it doesn't matter, as long as that 'higher power' is seen as and believed to be the 'savior' of the human, the human remains a slave.

Within Religion, dependency is created through the inner friction of fear of death/fear of loss and the desire for ‘eternal life’/’salvation’.
Within the world-system dependency is created through the friction of fear of survival/fear of loss and the desires of self-interest: the desire for a ‘better life’/‘safety’.

What is fascinating is to observe that the money-system has taken on the nature of fear as hell on earth; while the mind-system takes on the nature of god, where one utilize beliefs through which to project heaven/salvation to feel better while distracting oneself in denial of the actuality of reality.

Both Religion and the world money-system promote through belief an allegedly 'higher purpose' manifested as the hierarchies of both systems, the stairways of which the human is brainwashed to seek to ascend as if that were the actual value of life.

We can see that the current money-system as the world is in fact in its nature a religion; a religion that promotes consumerism, greed (the nastier side of fear) and delusion through belief, while it sells an illusion of 'free choice', since in actuality choice in this system is always determined by the power/money the individual is able to mine.

And the human that is born of this system and brainwashed by the system buys into the 'free choice' presented to it, because this 'free choice' gives the human the 'opportunity' to create its own self-religion as world-view and beliefs – which gives the individual a means to 'justify' his/her existence and lifestyle and why one never question what one serves while one follows fake values like 'money', 'god', 'power' – all of which are based in fear, wherefrom emerge separation, competition, deception, manipulation, abuse; wherefrom emerge an existence where we consume ourselves and each-other trapped in a feverish race for survival: the human race.

I commit myself to exposing the nature of religion for what it is: a belief system through which to keep the human enslaved to concepts and hopes of a 'higher power' that will forgive one's sin/debt and will take one to 'salvation' and 'eternal' life without the individual getting to 'know thyself' or taking responsibility for its existence and the existence of the group that is humanity here on earth, because apparently "god knows you" and "god will save you" and so the human abdicates its responsibility to an invisible 'god' just like we abdicate our responsibility to an invisible pyramid of a system to which we subscribe the power and the authority to manage our relationships, to determine our choices, to guide our will, to fulfil our desires.

I commit myself to exposing Religion for what it is: just another consumerism product that sells promises of 'salvation' through the 'forgiveness of God' without ever allowing the individual to acknowledge the power to forgive themselves and stand equal as life, because 'god' is placed 'more than' life;
and so the individual is not allowed to empower themselves but 'through god', which exists only in the mental, and so we have an existence of individuals with mental disorders unable to stand in integrity and self-trust and empower themselves through knowledge and understanding of the actual physical laws of this existence such as cause and effect as the outflows of our actions which are always a reflection of who we are.
And instead of supporting the human to see and understand that who we are manifests the world as we know it and that it is thus up to us to change our existence into an existence that supports life, Religion will demonize the world and the individual through a concept of 'sin' and will have the individual in fear through ideas of reward and punishment through a 'higher power' which one must worship and serve in order to receive the award at the end of the race as the promise of 'eternal life' and abundance in the 'afterlife'.

And so Religion has the individual focused on the 'afterlife' and distracted within mental concepts of a 'promised land' for a select few that are somehow 'special' in the eyes of god (not to mention the absurdity of different gods having different groups of people as their special 'chosen ones' and putting up wars against the 'chosen ones' of other gods!!!);
Religion has the individual trapped within this distraction in the mind, focused on projected fear-based ideas of 'grandeur' in some 'afterlife', and so the individual is divided within itself and unable to effective participate HERE in this reality we all share to make it into an existence that supports all life equally and leaves no space for fear, abuse, separation, war.

I commit myself to standing up and exposing all beliefs for what they are: concepts created to divide and conquer both the individual and the world.

I commit myself to standing for life and supporting my world to stand-up from fear and empower themselves to take self-responsibility as life and stand as one group - the one group that really matters: Humanity as life, all as equals in one world.

I commit myself to supporting my world to realize that we as humanity require to stand-up from fear, break the chains of enslavement as imposed through the current money-system of consumerism and exploitation, and bring forth a new system of actual life-support for all.

I commit myself to exposing all fake values to which we as humanity buy into and submerge ourselves to - so that we may all recognize the value of life as the actual value that is currently being exploited and abused in the name of fake values and profit.

I commit myself to in all possible ways honor and support life as the actual value that matters, so that I may be a living example for others to reconsider what they place value into and whether it is really worth abdicating our directive-power as life here on earth for some promised 'power'/'reward'/'salvation' in some 'afterlife'.

I commit myself to exposing the deception of Religion demonizing the world as if it's not us the people that create the world in the image and likeness of ourselves.

I commit myself to exposing the deception of Religion promising ‘salvation’ from this world and not allowing the people to realize that a 'salvation' that is 'given' through a 'higher power' in fact equals enslavement, because real actual salvation can only emerge through self transcending fear ad breaking free from the chains of the inner and outer systems; can only emerge through the self-will of a human that knows oneself and realizes its role within the whole as cause and effect and thus takes responsibility for its creation, by directing itself to live and co-exist in ways that will bring forth actual freedom for all and a fear-free society based in mutual recognition as life in self-dignity.

Day 10: I don't wanna Wait in Vain

So the other day I was looking at the attitude of a friend as a physical attitude and its consequences in the world (see my blog.....). That point forced me to look at myself and my own attitude, and through an experience I had the other night I saw something interesting.

I spent the afternoon with my partner and we had a great time working with the earth and planting some new plants, then cleaning the balcony and finishing up, and we were both really caught up in the activity and accordingly focused on it. We were at his place, and so my partner continued with cleaning the inner side of the space that leads to the balcony.
I was enjoying the green view and the sparkling raindrops that the short rain was now reflecting on the plants... And slowly but surely I realized I had nothing particular to do and started feeling awkward. I realized I was like waiting for something, for something to happen, for something to determine the next steps.

I asked myself whether perhaps I should not be there, perhaps my partner wants to be alone and do his thing, so I asked him whether he wants to be alone and he said it is not a problem that I am there. So I realized it was I that was the one having a 'problem', it was I that was feeling awkward, it was I that wanted to leave, but I could somehow not move myself freely to simply leave. As if I was waiting for something.

When I realized this, I took a moment to breathe and make myself comfortable within myself, to stop the awkward feeling and simply be here for a moment. Then, I simply made the step to take my bag and tell my partner "Hey I'll be going over to my place now", upon which he simply said "okay" - and everything was simplistic and simply what it was.
We hugged goodbye and I shared that I had enjoyed myself that day, and I left and everything was fine, clear, simple.

What I recognized within this is the automated response that comes up when I don't seem to be finding or seeing a 'purpose' to my presence and I immediately start to question whether I am wanted there, whether I am bothering, whether I am not supposed to be there.

An interesting realization within the whole situation, was when I realized that I was experiencing opposing forces within me. I wanted to leave and go and do something but I wasn't admitting that to myself for some reason, and at the same time I wanted to stay but didn't see why and what for. Within this, I realized that I was WAITING. I was waiting for SOMETHING.

What was that something I was waiting for? I was waiting either for my partner to tell me that I have to leave, or my partner to come to me and hug me or sit with me and give me a moment of 'intimacy'.
So I was waiting for my partner to determine my 'purpose', my 'movement', and also as I am realizing now: my 'worth'.

If he was to ask me to leave I would perceive that as me being 'not worthy' in that moment for him and would make a 'negative' experience out of it - OR if he would have come closer to me and we'd have a moment of 'closeness' I would make a 'positive' experience out of it and perceive myself as 'worthy'.
Both polarities do not in fact say anything about ME, but through my own acceptance and allowance: I accept such value-judgments to be formed within me based on the interpretation of the feedback coming from outside of me and I allow that perceived feedback to determine who I am through determining how I see myself and what I think and feel about myself and my relationships in my world.

It is fascinating that from such small points, such trivial and banal situations we can actually see so much about ourselves and about how we create our own experience and form our relationships.

The fucked-up thing about that is, that we are within that forming our relationships and our interactions from an unconscious starting-point, as we allow the conditioned mind as our self-consciousness to form the conclusions, assumptions and definitions we extract from the situation as equations, which we then base our decisions on.

So we base our decisions in the fuzzy logic of the secret mind, in unawareness of the totality of ourselves and our reality/our world. We base our decisions on the fears and desires of the conditioned self-consciousness and end up going into the direction the mind wants to go - which is a preprogrammed direction based in ideas of 'safety', 'knowing' and 'self-interest', and therefore such direction is not in fact allowing self as the actual being to expand, to explore and discover oneself for real.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to exist within and as waiting.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to define my 'worth' based in polarity value-judgments according to my interpretation of external feedback, and thus to define my 'worth' based on how I think others see me - instead of acknowledging and accepting self-worth as who I am here as life, based in the core of my being and not on perception through the mind.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to wait for others to direct, to determine and to form 'what is here' - instead of taking full responsibility for who I am, what I want, where I'm going.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to define myself within a starting-point of lack, thinking and believing I am missing something, something that must be given to me from the outside - instead of realizing self-equality and oneness here as me and accepting myself as the starting-point and the directive-principle of my life as myself.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to manifest a persona of 'waiting': 'waiting' to be allowed, 'waiting' to be given, 'waiting' to be invited, 'waiting' to be valued... - instead of be allowing me to be HERE, me giving me to me, me inviting me to live, me valuing myself as life.

I forgive myself that I haven't allowed myself to realize that through accepting myself to exist within and as 'waiting' in that one point of for instance the partner-relationship, I am actually accepting myself as 'waiting' in all aspects of my life.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to 'wait' for others to come forth with solutions when it is clear that this world requires every single self-willed individual in order to bring forth a solution for our world that will actually support life.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to see myself as 'unworthy', 'without purpose', 'without value' - when it is clear that we are only waiting for ourselves, as it is up to us to see ourselves as worthy of life and make ourselves worthy of life; we must give ourselves the purpose of creating life, creating ourselves as life to begin with, as that would be the only actual value and the highest value a human being could take on: dignifying life and bringing forth a purified existence where the value is life and all life can be equally free to express and expand, to live, to move, to create.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to wait for direction from the outside - instead of realizing that if we do not give ourselves direction in self-honesty, we remain subject to the systems of this world that operate automatically based on profit and self-interest, which is in essence based in fear; and that these systems exist and operate both within and without, as we have created and manifested this world in our image and likeness: a bipolar existence based in apparent 'scarcity' where life has become a race and a struggle between having and lacking, and this system is driven by the friction cause through competition, comparison, greed - all of which is essentially based in fear.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed an existence of fear, an existence of separation, an existence where all and everything is enslaved to each-other, yet each one fears making the first step to freedom, fears giving up what we think we own, what we think we know, who we think we are.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed myself to hold on to what I 'know' out of a need to feel 'safe' and 'secure' - instead of realizing that that which I think I 'know' and that which makes me feel 'safe' and 'secure' are the very patterns that constitute this world as we know it - and if all fear the unknown, if all are waiting for others to change first, we are surely not getting anywhere.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed an existence of 'scarcity' where we manifest money as scarcity based on our own inner perception of scarcity, where each one is always looking at the rest of the world through the filters of separation and therefore through an experience of 'lack' and 'need' which in turn fuels self-interest and makes it all about "me, me, me", and we are all literally driven by self-interest and have lost our own actual drive as life.

I forgive myself that I've accepted and allowed an existence of 'scarcity' - instead of realizing that there is enough of everything for all here and each one could have a fulfilled life of self-expression and actual value with doing what one is good at doing, if only we would stop antagonizing and racing against-each other in a quest for a bigger jackpot for "me", a quest for self-interest and personal elevation.

I commit myself to stopping myself whenever I find myself 'waiting'.

I realize that 'waiting' is wanting - wanting someone to change first before I change, waiting for someone to determine the next steps, waiting for someone else to take responsibility, waiting for the right moment.... when in fact I am always only waiting for myself to stand up and live.

I realize that if we don't stand up and live and bring forth an existence where all will be able to stand up and live - we'll be waiting in vain and we'll be in fact worthless in life, as we have not accepted ourselves as life, but have waited for others to save life and bring forth a solution for life.

I commit myself to taking responsibility at any given moment - being the directive-principle that dares to stop the game, dares to lead the way, to make decisions, to move self - because I realize that if I don't move, nothing moves.

I commit myself to making myself and others in my world aware of the manifestation of ourselves as 'waiting' - so that all may see that 'waiting' is actually postponing, is actually abdicating responsibility, is actually giving in to the mind as the self-consciousness that is trapped in concepts of 'inferiority' and 'superiority' and always busy with "me, me, me", instead of allowing self to stand equal as life and bring forth the equality of life as the actual value that can be practically lived, honoured, applied and established, so that all may be able to live their full potential as life; and surely once life is free, much more is possible than we can even begin to fathom at the moment.

I commit myself to eliminating the idea of 'scarcity' that has become a mental concept manifested as money that dictates this existence in polarity terms of 'having and 'lacking', so much so that all thoughts of human beings exist in terms of 'having' and 'lacking' - be it money, sex, relationships, image, worth, value - it's always about 'having' and 'lacking' and therefore the human race is manifest based on this very program, and regardless of what we participate in we are always trapped in this program of polarity. We are driven by it and are programmed to re-create it and perpetuate it over and over and over again, as our history of mankind clearly shows. This must stop.

I commit myself to stopping the concept of 'scarcity' from driving our existence. I commit myself to bringing forth common sense and the realization that all can have and be everything, once we re-form our system into a system that will ensure the foundation for all to have equal power, equal opportunity, equal value, equal access in life.

I commit myself to stopping myself from being subject to the self-consciousness of my conditioned mind - and I commit myself to investigating and exposing all the ways in which we are enslaved to conditioned patterns of polarity that cause abuse and the exploitation of life.

I commit myself to removing the veils of the mind cast upon this existence to blind us from the actual truth of ourselves that is right in front of us yet we do not see...

I commit myself to exposing all the ways we deceive ourselves through the mind, driven by self-interest which is in essence fear - and I commit myself to bringing forth an existence without fear, starting with myself.
